Was it all worth it in the end?

This was one of the first paintings I made after my intro to painting class. In it, I explore shame, being watched, and being judged-most of the time for just living your life. It shows two men in a sexual pose, but underneath the seduction is pain and power imbalance. The white figure symbolizes authority. The Latino boy represents me-being shamed for simply existing.
