This work is part of my ongoing exploration of the relationship between vintage gay ephemera and print media, where I recontextualize imagery once considered fleeting—ads, magazines, photographs—into layered visual narratives. By blending erotic vintage imagery with the textures, colors, and graphic language of mid-century advertisements, I aim to highlight the ways queer desire and identity were both hidden and revealed in print culture. The piece juxtaposes intimacy with bold, fragmented design, creating a space where what was once disposable becomes permanent, archival, and celebrated.
