Mucho Amor

For this piece, I set out to explore the ongoing push and pull of being Mexican American. That was my starting point, but as always, the work evolved into something deeper. I found myself reflecting on my abuela—her love, the sense of safety she gave me, and the ways my upbringing shaped me.

In many ways, this piece is a personal exploration of my roots and how they have guided me to where I am today.
